Roundtable on “Revitalizing Tangible & Intangible Cultural Heritage in KP/FATA”

To look into the ways of incorporating cultural heritage into development planning under Government of Italy’s funded Programme for Poverty Reduction; a roundtable for stakeholders’ consultation was hosted by PPAF in Peshawar. This two day roundtable on, “Revitalizing Tangible & Intangible Cultural Heritage in KP/FATA” was conducted jointly by Paola Manfredi, PPAF’s international consultant on cultural heritage and Team PPAF on Oct 20-21, 2016 with PPR partner organizations and community institutions working in KP and FATA, government & private sector, archaeologists, tourism specialists, Kalash community representatives, historians and local community artisans. The partners and community artisans had also set up show & tell stalls showcasing local arts and crafts.
