To improve the quality of existing “Union Council Level Livelihoods Plans (UCLDPs)” for all 38 programme UCs, PPR conducted a series of two consultative meetings led by Dr. Marco Marchetti, PPAF’s International Consultant and PPR livelihood specialists in March 2017. Similarly, programme coordinators from ten Balochistan POs and representatives of 24 LSOs including 9 women participated in meeting held in Quetta. The consultative meetings aimed at reviewing the UCLDPs, refine and gauge their quality and progress after one year and identify the sector specific broader livelihood activities for extension period.

During the two meetings, UCLDPs of all 38 LSOs were presented by LSOs’ representatives and detailed inputs were given by experts to incorporate the larger eco-system of the programme areas, natural resource management, farm and non-farms sector and improvement of small businesses through innovations.
